In pursuit of a Gold coin..
25/10/06
Congratulations to Adrian Nash from Cornwall who managed solve one of our most difficult clues yet, to find a Gold coin in Wales. We have since presented Adrian with a cheque for £500.
3 Gold coins and 196 Silver coins still remain. We will be revealing the locations of the last 3 Gold coins, throughout the next 3 months. You will need to register your isis puzzle on this website to access details of these locations. Click here to register your isis puzzle.
Adrian has since written to us with the following:
"I spoke to Martin (at SonicWarp) on Monday afternoon after having a false start run to the pyramid in Eastbourne (from Cornwall) I had a few questions which he was very helpful in answering or not (who is PUZZ anyway?) as the case maybe.
I wasn't sure if I was going to keep trying to find the Ruthin or Bramhall pyramids as they were so far away. But I tried calling a restaurant in Castle Mews Ruthin, The Dragon Boat (the only internet reference for Castle Mews, Ruthin) and they had no idea of a pyramid but gave me the phone number of the jewellers below them. So I called Mococo Tuesday morning and the rest is history.".

The last free October isis puzzle is found.
24/10/06
Congratulations to Mick Champion from Stoke-on-Trent who successfully tracked down the last free October isis puzzle.
We are planning to hide 3 free isis puzzles throughout November. Keep an eye on our website for further details. Click here to locate a free isis puzzle.
Mick has written to us with the following:
"After spending an hour or so looking for the scroll the previous week to
no avail, and keeping an eye on the web site all week, nobody had found the
Isis. Was I the only person looking?
I decided to have another go on Saturday 14th as I had to go Manchester
airport in the afternoon. I stopped at a petrol station nearby and luckily they still had copies of
Friday's Chronicle.
As I drove into the forest I was looking for the VC marker, there are a
few. I walked 130 paces from every VC marker on the approach road to the
forest, no tombstone. Looking at the paper wondering why the same co-ordinates
were written again, hang on I thought, there is a VC marker in front of the
bench. Off I went back to the bench walked about 110 paces saw the path
and there was the tombstone. It did not take long to find the pens on the
trees.
Looking on the ground I saw a shoe imprint in front of a tree, as I
followed the trunk of the tree up, there at head height I saw a clump of
pine needles, I had a rummage and there it was the Isis. I could not
believe it. I never saw another sole looking where I was.
Was I the only person looking? It would appear not.".

Nice job, the guys had done well hiding it up a tree.
Shout-outs to all the guys out there still on a search and those who've

One of the hidden free isis puzzles has been found.
16/10/06
Congratulations to Kirk Hilton of Poynton, Cheshire who was the first person to successfully locate a free isis puzzle. One free isis puzzle still remains. Click here for more information.
Kirk has since written to us with the following comments:
"Thank you for the excellent weekend hunt. It was certainly worth getting up at 6 o’clock Friday (13th) morning and travelling the hour to Delamere to get a copy of the Chronicle and to start hunting early. Even thought initially I wasted time chasing a ‘wild goose’. I got a good amount of exercise and several lungs of much needed fresh air as well, ‘just what the doctor ordered
Commiserations to a “Kevin” of Macclesfield who was only a few yards away when I discovered the hidden Isis. Good luck to him in future hunts.
Many Thanks also (particularly to Erica) for sending the presentation box, pens and letter so quickly - it is appreciated.’".

We have also placed two additional markers in the area to help all those that are struggling to find the hidden isis puzzle. The markers you will need to find can also be referred to as 21st century penna's.
In addition, and for the forthcoming weekend only we have hidden a 2nd Isis puzzle in Delamere forest, we will issue brand new co-ordinates and instructions this Friday in the Chester Chronicle newspaper.
